Melo Beauty Bar

Melo Beauty Bar transforms an existing shop in Garden City into a two-level beauty and wellness environment. The design brings treatment spaces, circulation and interior details together to create a welcoming setting that balances operational needs with guest comfort.

01 / Program and Spatial Organization

The ground floor accommodates facial, hand and foot beauty treatments.

A wooden staircase and corridor lead to the basement massage rooms, establishing a transition between the salon and the spa. Reconfiguring the layout was central to improving movement through the premises.

02 / Interiors and Atmosphere

New floor and wall finishes, graphics, color and lighting establish a coordinated interior.

Redesigned millwork and work surfaces integrate treatment technology while contributing warmth. Individual massage rooms use distinct colors and floral concepts to create varied atmospheres within the overall design.

03 / Integrated Design

Building Information Modeling supported the coordination of the proposal.

The project treats functionality and atmosphere as connected concerns, bringing equipment, work surfaces and circulation into the same design process as material and lighting choices.
