Nowadays, when everyone can order food from home with just a click, going to the supermarket can be an EXPERIENCE again! The need to interact and socialize while seeing, smelling, and touching what you’re buying is a sensual matter and essential for a customer’s satisfaction and a business’ success.
Our primary goal was to create an interior space where the consumer feels most comfortable and inspired, as in an open outdoor or street market. While the main focus remains the access to the various products and information on their origin, design and graphics aim to assist the customer in his search while stimulating their senses. The familiar forms of the cottage house, the barn, the kiosk, the crate which carry the goods, are being abstractly re-introduced around the spaces as organizational elements that both orient, connect and invite to a collective experience.
The usage of natural materials (oak wood in paint and in water lacquer) reinforces the main concept of this store, while creating an image and an identity for this chain of supermarkets.
