This smart building automation design firm’s main offices were expanded and updated to accommodate a new welcome center with showroom/conference space at ground level and a reimagined workroom with open stations upstairs.
The showroom/conference room addition is treated as a separate self-sustained enclosure, a shell that filters external noise and light and showcases the company’s capabilities on custom metal panels and screens.
A newly located metal central stair floats and cantilevers above the ground floor and leads up to the design area workstations that are laid out around the building’s glass facades. Overlooking a green area outside, this work room is clad in earthy colors that reference working and living in the open, in nature.
